Description
Your standard black dal dish gets a traditional North-Indian flavour with Catch Dal Makhani Masala. Black dal is made more flavorful and aromatic by adding Dal Makhani masala. To offer you a lip-smacking flavour, the right balance of real Indian spices was used.
Dal Makhni Masala Recipe: Pressure Cook 250 gm black gram lentils (Sabut Urad Dal) soaked overnight and 45 kidney beans (Rajma), soaked overnight in sufficient water (8 cup /1200ml) till the pressure is released for 8-10 times. Heat ghee/oil in a non stick pan. Add 100 gm finely chopped onions and saute till brown. Add 135 gm finely chopped tomatoes & 20-25 gm KFI Dal Makhni Masala mix well and cook the till oil separates. Add pressure cooked dal, stir to mix and simmer for 15-20 min. Check salt as per taste. Add cream, 3 tbsp white butter, mix well and simmer for 10-15 min. Garnish with white butter, coriander leaves drizzle some cream and serve hot.
