The ideal combination of spices for the ideal biryani! A normal Indian kitchen must include biryani masala powder. A mixture of rice and vegetables cooked with biryani masala powder results in a fragrant and flavorful Biryani that will win the hearts of everyone.
Biryani Recipe: Leave 350-400 gm of basmati rice soaked for 25-30 minutes. Boil finely chop vegetables like: Cauliflower, Carrots, Green Peas, Ginger, Ginger Green Chillies, Capsicum etc. Now boil the rice and keep it aside. Heat 2 tbsp ghee/oil in a pan. And add hing, cumin, 4 small cardamoms, 2 large cardamoms, 6-8 cloves, 1 cinnamon, mace, 2 star anise. Roast with adding 1 1/2- 2 tbsp KFI Biryani Masala with salt as per taste. Mix rice and boiled vegetables and cook for 2 minutes, Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot. For more flavours try coriander chutney.
NOTE: KFI Biryani Masala can be sprinkle over the biryani for more flavour.
Ingredients:
Coriander seeds, Cumin, Black Pepper Pomegranate Seeds, Nutmeg, Mace, Green Cardamon, Big Cardamon, Cinnamon, Star Anise, Bay Leaf, Cloves, Salt Chillies.
